The following positions / people are not directly elected by the public. They generally derive their policies -either directly or indirectly from the president, and are therefore only indirectly accountable to the public. They are, however, human beings with personal opinions and beliefs, and we hope,  a conscience... with a reasonable ability to discern right from wrong. Sending them a letter about a specific area of concern or issue encouraging them to adhere to just and humane actions may help them to stand up to the pressures they are under to carry out a policy that is unjust or inhumane. Your one voice may just be the deciding factor in a decision to buck an unjust or inhumane policy, and perhaps your letter may even infuse them with the strength to stand up and "just say no."

They do not maintain public email addresses, and in some cases, sending an email to their private email address could result in a hostile investigation as to how their address was obtained. For the public to contact these people, the only acceptable method is by the mailing addresses listed below.
